Working Group seasons are a governance process created by DAO Operations and managed by Giveth Stewards. This system allows us to organize and plan our goals for the next three months. It also provides a short period to reflect and review the results of the previous quarter, as well as a way to maintain our financial accountability. Season Proposals allow the community to vote on how Giveth should prioritize working groups for the upcoming season, usually around 3 months. Prioritization is decided by the budget required to complete the deliverables and metrics proposed by the working group. # Now is the time to have your say in **GIVernance!** The latest Working Group Proposals for Season 5 have been published to the forum, Snapshot voting is now underway to decide the final outcomes. The Snapshot vote for Season 5 wrapped up on Sunday, October 27. These are the final outcomes: - Fundraising - **GROW** ↗ - GIVeconomy - **SUSTAIN** ➡ - Quadratic Funding - **SUSTAIN** ➡ - DAO Ops - **SUSTAIN** ➡ - Dapp - **SHRINK** \* ↘ However with the following changes and conditions: ### Fundraising - Won’t send Jake to DevCon, too late of notice to make happen. - Will prioritize more senior leadership participation in grants review and writing. @JakeS might have more to add on additional details I might have overlooked. ### Dapp - Will still execute certain elements of the Sustain version’s community and communications deliverables, such as: - Ambassador Program S3 - Google Ads Campaign - 200 Giveth Zora NFT mints (increased from 50 mints on proposal, since we’ve already surpassed that amount 😵 ) You can view the [original proposal here](https://forum.giveth.io/t/dapp-season-5-proposal/1567). The changes might amount to an extra ~7k in spending on the Dapp, bringing the total estimated DAO wide spending for Season5 to be around ~$189k, under our agreed maximum budget of $200k. * * * # Additional GIVernance changes. This Season will last until January 1st, 2025. However moving forward we will extend the length of future season’s by 1 month, to 4 month durations. This will allow more time to execute on proposals and less yearly admin overhead. There will be then 3 Seasons a year instead of 4, Season 6 for example will last from Jan 1st - April 30th, 2025.
