BeWeb3 is a public-goods-oriented initiative focused on building user-first, secure, and resilient Web3 applications.

The project supports the active development of a multi-project Web3 ecosystem, simplified.

BeWeb3 exists to solve a major issue in Web3 today:

Powerful technology fails if users cannot understand or safely use it.

Through BeWeb3, development is focused on:

  • Creating intuitive UI/UX for complex Web3 systems

  • Reducing technical barriers and confusing jargon

  • Enabling real users to test prototypes early

  • Building open, transparent, and security-first infrastructure

This proposal seeks funding to cover ongoing development costs, including time, tooling, prototyping, testing, and iteration. All investor funding is reserved exclusively for security audits; BeWeb3 exists so the community can directly fuel development itself.

Proposal Rationale

Giveth’s mission aligns strongly with BeWeb3:

  • Public goods: Open, reusable Web3 infrastructure and tooling

  • Transparency: Clear separation between audit funding and development funding

  • Community participation: Users actively shape the product before launch

  • Long-term impact: Building systems that prioritize usability, security, and sustainability

BeWeb3 matters to:

  • GIV holders → supports real, open development instead of speculation

  • The Giveth community → funds tangible progress and measurable output

  • The giving ecosystem → demonstrates how community funding can power deep technical work responsibly

Without community funding, many Web3 projects either:

  • Launch with poor UX, or

  • Depend entirely on investors, limiting openness and experimentation

BeWeb3 ensures development stays open, user-driven, and aligned with public good values.
