Who are JL and kkechy? I am a full time contributor in General Magic and I have no idea who those people are.

They made the Giveth Swag Shop, JL was the project manager (with Kristofer) and kkechy was the dev making things happen, he is a friend of Marko. This was sort of a test project for both of them so they haven’t been hired by GM… yet… It went well so we will see if they want to spin out more swag shops and then we will hire them fully, bring them into the chat room and all that.

In the future I would like to see a budget for these groups approved by the DAO in advance so I can see that the amount being distributed for the project team has been proposed and had an advice process.

In the absence of visibility to these people’s actual job descriptions and salary, I’m not comfortable just approving a monthly distribution like this going forward - there’s nothing to validate it against.

Thanks for pointing this out Dani. We would be requesting one more reimbursement request for January 2022, then we would probably propose a budget request for future services to be provided.

There is no way to get this done before ETH Denver, but we can try to get this bureaucracy set up in early Feb.
