Web3Conf India 2023 | Sponsorship Proposal

Proposal Information

Proposal description:
We would like to propose that Giveth becomes a sponsor for Web3Conf India ,the first-ever chain agnostic conference representing 1.42 Billion people is back for its second edition again in Goa, India.

Web3Conf India is not just a conference but a voice for billions of people who want to get involved in the Web3.0 industry. We started the conference last year to bring the world’s attention to talented developers in India, giving them a stage to showcase their projects and meet and network with world-class leaders from the Blockchain industry. This year we are expecting over 3000 people to attend the conference in person as well as at least 5000 developers to participate in the virtual hackathon.

The conference is organized by GirlScript Foundation established in 2017 to bring diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. So far, we have helped Microsoft to give their certification to 2000+ individuals, got over 30,000+ women to participate in Atlassian hiring, conducted 51 Web3.0 boot camps across India to help over 10,000 learners with Polygon, The Graph, Push Protocol, etc, and recently our Flow Hackathon by Dapper Labs got over 7000 developers! Overall from 2017 to now, we have helped 500,000+ learners globally and have over 100K+ active learners in our mailing list. We have been featured in Forbes Asia 30U30, Tedx, Technology Playmaker Award by Booking.com, ElasticSearch Cause Awards, etc, and worked with over 250+ top global web2 and web3 companies.

Proposal Rationale
By sponsoring Web3Conf India, Giveth can actively support diversity, inclusion, and innovation in the tech industry. This sponsorship will enable Giveth to have a prominent presence at the conference, gain exposure to a global audience, and contribute to the growth and development of the Web3 ecosystem. It aligns with Giveth’s mission of promoting decentralized technologies and empowering individuals to make a positive impact.

Expected duration or delivery date (if applicable):
The conference will take place from 11th to 14th August 2023 at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort.
